Two weeks of long sunny days, have enabled me to keep glueing, gessoing, waxing and dying, with ease. I completed the task I’d set myself, to make 30 shapes a day for 30 days, and I now have 900 shapes in varying degrees of completion.
Making shapes in quantity like this, means that they take on a life of their own, allowing me to stand back and see where that leads.
Quietly magical moments have occurred in the process, sometimes revealed through my camera lens – they would otherwise have been passed by or forgotten.
